The idea behind VeeGo began one evening at dinner, when one of VeeGo’s founders pulled “butter” wrapped in aluminum foil from her purse. She explained that she regularly brought her own condiments along to restaurants to add flavor to the limited vegan menu choices. This began the conversation about the lack of vegan options in the restaurant and “to-go” market.
Fast forward a few days to a lunch with our friend Wes from Barrows Gourmet Deli. We began discussing the need to bring along sauces and condiments to enjoy flavorful vegan meals. This is when we coined the name VeeGo and the rest is history.
